Clay has been shaping humans for 30,000 years
It's your turn.
Learn the WHY not just the HOW:
Thrown:Reno is a new pottery studio coming to South Reno. We will be located in Turner Air Crossing on the eastern side of the airport at 4690 Longley Lane in Suite 42, right on the corner at the entrance. In our studio, pottery classes will be more than just following step-by-step instructions. Our founder has developed a unique teaching approach rooted in the history, science, and craft of clay, so you learn the WHY and not just the HOW.
We're building a studio for everyone. Whether you're touching clay for the first time or returning after years away, you'll find a welcoming community where every student, every level, and every ability has a place to gather, create, and grow.
Our classes are intentionally designed for mixed experience levels. Beginners build a strong foundation while returning students regularly revisit core skills, deepen their understanding, and explore new techniques. Because each session includes a blend of experience levels, every class offers fresh perspectives and new opportunities to learn.
That also provides flexibility for our students: simply book the day that works best for your schedule and we'll meet you at the wheel. Whether you're taking your very first pottery class, looking for a creative night out or building a long-term practice, there is a place for you here and we can't wait to share the joy of getting your hands dirty.
You'll never have to wonder whether you should be touching grass again. We're going deeper.
We're touching the mud.
